  • A Listing of accomplishments made by all group members for the previous week

Chris: Spent a considerable amount of time with Isaiah and Yewon trying to get the Bluetooth LE to work with Arduino on a laptop. Also, started the poster design and drafted a layout to be iterated in the future.

Isaiah: Troubleshooting with the Bluetooth breakout board and ultimately decided to start programming for a USB connection (instead of Bluetooth). Also went to a fabric store and took pictures of some potential fabrics for our design.

Yewon: Further research on Bluetooth LE and try to interface Bluetooth with the laptop. Also, collect ideas on a future name for the midi armband.

  • A description of problems encountered and outstanding issues

The hardest problem remains the interfacing the Bluetooth with the Teensy board and the laptop. Also, we need to figure out battery needs and final button layout.

  • A plan for the next week of work

Our plan for this week is to continue troubleshooting our Bluetooth interface with the laptop and start laser cutting our buttons and get all supplies in order. Also, we will continue to fill out our poster and think of our final name (hopefully). Additionally, we need to finalize our materials for the armband.
